Yuklin Aluli

Yuklin Aluli was voted 1996 Hawaii Woman Lawyer of the year by her peers with the Hawaii Women Lawyers. Admitted to the bar in Hawaii in 1974, Ms. Aluli is the fourth generation of her family to practice law in the Hawaiian islands. Her practice is focused on land matters, probate and trust administration, and litigation. She has represented clients in Hawaii district courts, circuit courts, appellate courts, the US District Court, the District of Hawaii, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

A founding director, president, and current officer of the Native Hawaiian Bar Association, Ms. Aluli has a lifelong involvement in Hawaiian affairs. She has served on the boards of private schools, the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, the Honolulu Planning Commission, and the Honolulu Police Commission, in addition to various committees of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the Hawaii Judiciary.

The offices of this practice are located in Kailua, where Ms. Aluli has lived since 1953. She was educated in Catholic schools and at universities in Hawaii, California, and Italy.
